Stainless Steel Ball

- Oct 26, 2017 -

Stainless steel ball is usually produced by forging process, the current commonly used stainless steel ball materials are 201, 302, 304, 316, 316L, 420, 440C.

Definition: contains more than 12% of chromium, and can resist chemical substances violated steel.

Principle: Stainless steel is not not rust, but not easy to rust. Its principle is the addition of chromium elements, the surface of the steel formed a layer of dense structure of chromium oxide layer, can effectively block the contact between steel and air, so that oxygen in the air can not enter the steel, and to prevent the effect of rusting steel.

Category: China National Standard (CNS), the Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) and the American Iron and Steel Association (AISI) use three digits to represent different stainless steels and are widely cited by industry offices, of which 200 are chromium-nickel-manganese austenitic stainless steel, and 300 are chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steel, 400 series of chromium stainless steel (commonly known as rust-resistant iron), including Martensite and ferrite.
